Scientific-educational university professorship for EMP (f/m/d)
20 hours per week, (50% of full-time employment)
The combination of music, movement and voice forms the focus of the artistic-pedagogical Bachelor's and Master's degree program in Elementary Music Pedagogy offered (EMP) at the Anton Bruckner Private University. The artistic area of this degree program consists of a bundle of subjects around the central artistic main subject "Music-Movement-Voice", in which performative and participative art formats are developed and presented. The artistic-pedagogical and academic area is dedicated to researching artistic forms of expression, especially in the context of new target groups and teaching-related topics within the framework of elementary music pedagogy (EMP).
The artistic, pedagogical and scientific areas of EMP are constantly being further developed by the team of EMP teachers in close cooperation. They also incorporate EMP content into other degree programs at the university with a view to innovative career prospects and cooperate with partners within and outside the university.

- Completed music education degree from a college or university
- A doctorate appropriate to the intended use
- Professional experience in a practical field of music education

Role & Responsibilities
- You will develop and represent the subject "EMP" in research and teaching
- You will be responsible for carrying out academic research projects as well as networking the department in a national and international context
- You will continuously develop the profile of elementary music education (e.g. through cooperation projects)
- You will supervise Bachelor's and Master's theses as well as dissertations
- You are required to participate in academic self-administration

- Scope of employment: 20 hours per week, including 6 SWS teaching (50% of full-time employment)
- The salary on the basis of 50% full-time employment per week is at least € 2731.00 gross per month (depending on previous service). The classification is in salary group B (this corresponds to the LD 8 functional career path of the Upper Austrian Salary Act 2001.
